Arsenal's manager feels assured that his side can persist in handling with player absences following confirming that star striker Kai Havertz remains out for several more weeks.

Extended Absence for German Star

Havertz has been out since August due to an operation on his knee. Hoped to be available sooner, Arteta explained the player faced a hurdle when stepping up his training and failed to reach “the required stage.”

“We took lessons, and managed to assemble a squad that is much more reliable and has greater depth,” commented Arteta.

“We learned from the past that we have to use players in different positions, and they need to be prepared to perform various functions if we aim to challenge at the highest level. And the example of Mikel is just the best one.”
